About the Role

This role supports an Australian-based business and involves assisting with daily accounting operations, voucher entry, and ledger maintenance. The position is ideal for individuals who have a basic understanding of accounting processes and are comfortable working with financial records in a structured remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Perform voucher entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain and update general ledger entries
- Assist with recording financial transactions and supporting documentation
- Support preparation of basic financial reports and data summaries
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records
- Organize and maintain financial documents and digital records
- Coordinate with internal teams to support day-to-day accounting operations
Education & Experience
- Minimum education: Intermediate (12th Grade) or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Open to entry-level, experienced, and senior candidates with relevant accounting skills
- Prior experience in accounting support, bookkeeping, or finance-related roles will be an advantage
Skills & Requirements
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
