Compliance & Quality Assurance (QA) Support Officer (Offshore)

Business: SZS Finance and Mortgage Solutions

Reporting to: Founder / Licensed Mortgage Broker

Role Type: Offshore - Full-time / Part-time (as required)

Location: Offshore (Pakistan / Philippines / UAE - remote)


1. Role Purpose

The Compliance & QA Support Officer is responsible for ensuring that loan files, client

records, and processes are complete, compliant, and audit-ready before broker review,

mentor review, or settlement.

This role is preventive and control-focused, not advisory.


2. Primary Accountability

To ensure that:

• Every file meets documentation and disclosure requirements

• Compliance gaps are identified early

• Audit trails are clear and complete

• The broker and business are protected from compliance risk


3. Key Responsibilities

A. File Completeness & QA Checks

• Conduct checklist-based file reviews

• Verify presence (not interpretation) of:

o Client ID documents

o Disclosures and acknowledgements

o Required supporting documents

• Confirm version control and document currency

B. Disclosure & Record Verification

• Check that required disclosures are:

o Present

o Correctly dated

o Properly stored

• Flag missing, unsigned, or incorrectly stored documents

• Ensure CRM records match file contents

C. Pre-Submission & Pre-Review QA

• Prepare files for:

o Broker final review

o Mentor / aggregator review

• Confirm files are “review-ready”

• Prevent incomplete or non-compliant submissions

D. Audit & Evidence Preparation

• Maintain audit-ready file structure

• Support post-settlement QA reviews

• Assist with internal audits or spot checks

• Maintain QA logs and exception registers

E. Escalation & Boundaries

• Escalate all compliance gaps immediately

• Do not correct files without approval

• Do not provide compliance interpretations or advice

• Follow escalation rules strictly


4. What This Role Does NOT Do (Critical)

• Provide credit or compliance advice

• Interpret NCCP, lender policy, or legal requirements

• Approve files or submissions

• Override broker decisions

• Modify files without instructions


5. Required Skills & Competencies

Essential

• Strong documentation discipline

Preferred

• Background in QA, compliance support, audit support, or admin

• Exposure to regulated environments

7. Training & Certification Requirements

• Mandatory completion of:

o Induction & confidentiality training (Level 0)

• No QA activity without certification sign-off

• Reduction in rework post-submission
