About the Role
We are currently seeking a HR & Compliance Researcher to support an Australian-based business. This role involves conducting structured research related to human resources practices, workforce regulations, and employment compliance requirements.
In addition to research activities, the role also supports HR operations such as job postings, candidate coordination, interview scheduling, and basic recruitment support. Research findings and HR documentation will help support internal planning, hiring processes, and operational compliance activities.
This role is suitable for candidates who are detail-oriented, comfortable working with online tools, and able to follow instructions accurately in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct research on HR policies, employment practices, and workforce compliance requirements
• Gather publicly available information related to hiring requirements, workforce regulations, and eligibility criteria across different jurisdictions
• Compile and organize research findings in spreadsheets or structured reports
• Summarize research findings to support internal HR and compliance planning
• Assist with job postings on recruitment platforms and job portals
• Support the recruitment process by coordinating candidate communications
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
• Assist with preliminary candidate screening where required
• Support onboarding coordination and employment documentation processes
• Maintain records of candidate information, recruitment activities, and HR documentation
Education & Experience
• Minimum education: Intermediate (12th Grade) or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree holders are encouraged to apply
• Open to entry-level, experienced, and senior candidates with relevant skills
• Prior experience in HR support, recruitment coordination, research, or administrative roles will be an advantage
Skills & Requirements
• Strong internet research and information-gathering skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and documentation skills
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote team environment
• Basic understanding of HR processes, recruitment workflows, and employment compliance frameworks
