Job Summary

Cvent Sydney IT is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Wix Website Designer with hands-on experience in Wix.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow their career in web development while working on real client projects under the guidance of a professional development team. The candidate will support senior developers and designers in delivering high-quality websites and digital solutions.

Basic logo designing skills and foundational knowledge of app development concepts are also required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize websites using Wix
  • Create responsive and user-friendly website layouts
  • Customize themes and templates according to project requirements
  • Install, configure, and manage apps, plugins, and third-party integrations
  • Manage hosting environments, domains, DNS settings, and website deployments
  • Ensure website responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
  • Perform website speed optimization and basic SEO implementation
  • Troubleshoot and fix website bugs and technical issues
  • Upload, edit, and manage website content
  • Design basic logos and branding materials when required
  • Assist in basic app development-related tasks and coordination
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for existing client websites


Requirements

  • Basic to intermediate experience with Wix (mandatory)
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
  • Familiarity with page builders and website customization tools
  • Basic knowledge of hosting, domains, cPanel, and website deployment
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Foundational understanding of mobile or web app development concepts
  • Basic logo designing skills (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools)
  • Ability to troubleshoot common website issues
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Good time management and ability to work under supervision within a team environment
